Is My Coach House At Risk From Flood?

You may have been alerted to the fact your Coach House property is in a flood risk area. This information usually comes to light during purchasing via the searches, and Insurance research.

To see if your property is is immediate danger, go Find out if you're at risk of flooding in England - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) to review current warnings in place across the UK.

To understand a flood risk rating against your postcode area - try Flood map for planning - GOV.UK (flood-map-for-planning.service.gov.uk) or to check the flood history of a property/area - email enquiries@environment-agency.gov.uk

This does not mean that you cannot Insure your Coach House Property, you may pay a higher premium, and perhaps have less choice of Insurers available to you - but at Home Shield Insurance we have several Insurers who are happy to assess each property on their individual history and risk rating.
